  • Generally speaking, appointments can be scheduled within a week of your initial call. Urgent appointments (same day or next day) may be available if needed. Daytime, evening, and weekend appointments are available.

  • In the initial session, the therapist will work with you to gain a full understanding of what you are experiencing and what you need to feel better. Together you will formulate a plan specific to your needs, what you would like to see change, and what resources are available to you. You may feel hopeful and a sense of relief because you have taken the first step in feeling better.   • It is common for individuals to worry about the cost of counselling. Consider the benefits of this short term investment. Taking care of yourself and getting what you need is important. The cost of not getting help is much higher. Your health and well being is worth the investment. Most extended health care plans cover the cost of counselling services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW).

    • 60-Minute In-Person Individual Counselling/Psychotherapy - $150

    • 60-Minute Virtual Individual Counselling/Psychotherapy - $150

    • 75-Minute Couples Counselling/Psychotherapy- $195

  • Since the scheduling of a counselling appointment involves the reservation of a time specifically for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling an appointment. Unless we reach a different agreement, the 50% of the fee will be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
